In the 20thth minute of the game Adam Kanczuszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Güntekin Şanlı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güntekin Şanlı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kanczuszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of the match. Jedrzej Jaktorowo made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tolek Jaworski however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Leszek Matuch in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
