Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paco Everett got the match started through his kick off. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 8th minute of play. Boroondara Milan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano scored to the left of an out of position Bath Boyce, making the score, 1-0. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bath Boyce having to interfere. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bath Boyce came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Kris Pearse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Pearse in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Long Worsley. Camilo Franco made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boroondara Milan's Arty Shearn. 35 minutes into the game, Drake Sobczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boroondara Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 35 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Drake Sobczak. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Paco Everett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jason Sperling hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Paco Everett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Paco Everett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match, Paco Everett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 55th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Bath Boyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bath Boyce. Bath Boyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Paco Everett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Boroondara Milan's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bath Boyce came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rolando Luckham, made in the 80th minute of the game. When Jorge Sainz fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Jorge Sainz a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bath Boyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 87th minute of play. Francisco Seco got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bath Boyce handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Kris Pearse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uruguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
