With an all-out effort, USA's Dacian Nițescu threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 10 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Don Cabezon took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Don Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Diego Bradley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Monty Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob May got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Ardy Pakubuwono kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don Cabezon in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ardy Pakubuwono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of USA booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Owsiak didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Don Cabezon was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Don Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play. Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don Cabezon in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Mauro Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 68th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 73rd minute of play. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 79th minute of play. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 94th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Khalid Parry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant USA side.
