That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Paredes Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paredes Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Tingelholm in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paredes Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 30th minute of the match. Paredes Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paredes Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Karl Ström's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
