Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersen Bumba in the 89th minute of the match. Carlos Baptista was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-4. The ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
