The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the ☠QUINTERO☠ defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Wall. The ☠QUINTERO☠ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Wall should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Hellström was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Jonathan Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Hellström in the 87th minute of the match. Wei Cheng Ling hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The ☠QUINTERO☠ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
