Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ciro Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ciro Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Moscatelli. Acilia Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ciro Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Ucci in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Mexico booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Giampieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Acilia Town players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Acilia Town made a substitution. Dieguinho Tande replaced Fu Hai Yuan. The wind increased when Dieguinho Tande made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ciro Moscatelli made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Moscatelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Acilia Town's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Acilia Town fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Luca Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 67 minutes, Dieguinho Tande made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Dieguinho Tande made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Moscatelli. That made the score 3-3 in the 77 minute of play. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Moscatelli having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciro Moscatelli. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
