Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Urban Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Wennerquist in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, Joga Hem FC's Pete Luna got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joga Hem FC's goalkeeper Pete Luna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pete Luna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play forced Joga Hem FC's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pete Luna. Joga Hem FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Mina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Pete Luna in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Hem FC's Urban Wennerquist. But to his dismay, Urban Wennerquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Urban Wennerquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Joga Hem FC's Urban Wennerquist in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Wennerquist was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Joga Hem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Pete Luna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joga Hem FC's David Israel Blue was substituted for Ludomil Kluska. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Bennvar Byth tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bennvar Byth in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 67th minute David Israel Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joga Hem FC's Patric Berglund got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Israel Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patric Berglund in the 89th minute. Rafael Gallo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pete Luna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Gallo ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Byth came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
