Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 6 in the game by Cassius Byrne from a close distance when the talented David Abad managed to make a qualified save. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players were relieved. David Abad made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with David Abad in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Su Jian Jie. 13 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USA booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Long Xiang Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 22nd minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Zach Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. David Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Günther Doty to strike the kick off in the second half. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 51 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günther Doty in the 52nd minute. Diego Bradley hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Luan Pombo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Pombo couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Cassius Byrne. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günther Doty in the 67th minute. David Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Chinese CJ Youth Academy were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luan Pombo took the corner. Luan Pombo made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Campbell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 83rd minute of play. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant USA side.
