The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but İlkan Akil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper İlkan Akil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haydar Dizdar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. İlkan Akil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper İlkan Akil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
