In the 22nd minute, Rafael Lenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dé Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dé Marques hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dé Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Rafael Lenzi scored 1-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Lenzi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Lenzi in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ye Kang Zhan came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Lenzi in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Rafael Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Gisbert made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Dé Marques. Dé Marques made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jiang Mo Qi however managed to control. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rafael Lenzi sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Toni Kroos MGZ™ had won after a very even match.
