Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Olgierd Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 6th minute. When Fcion C.A.'s David Muñoz in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8thth minute of the game David Muñoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Muñoz in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olgierd Walczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Olgierd Walczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. After 36 minutes, David Muñoz made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamim Rollheiser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgierd Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sebastião Jacinto's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sebastião Jacinto hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olgierd Walczak. Olgierd Walczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Fcion C.A. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Muñoz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Fcion C.A.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Walczak came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute Daniel Zorita suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 60th minute, Angel Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Palacio got free with Olgierd Walczak in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Muñoz in the 66th minute of the match. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Olgierd Walczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Palacio in the 69th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fcion C.A.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felix Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olgierd Walczak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Fcion C.A. from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Benjamim Rollheiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Moberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fcion C.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Fcion C.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Olgierd Walczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Palacio came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olgierd Walczak could save by the left post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
