Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş got the match started through his kick off. Zeki İncel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dursun Öztuna in the 5th minute of the match. İSTANBULLS FC's İlhami Sungurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İlhami Sungurbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere. İlhami Sungurbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced İSTANBULLS FC's goalkeeper İlhami Sungurbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeki İncel came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. İSTANBULLS FC's İlhami Sungurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this İlhami Sungurbay quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere. İlhami Sungurbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. İlhami Sungurbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind İSTANBULLS FC's goalkeeper İlhami Sungurbay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and İlhami Sungurbay quite easily take care of the ball. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dursun Öztuna. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlhami Sungurbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. İlhami Sungurbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The İSTANBULLS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

In the 51st minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İSTANBULLS FC's İlhami Sungurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Dursun Öztuna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dursun Öztuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dursun Öztuna in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes in the game, Agustín Saelices fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Sungurbay having to interfere. When İSTANBULLS FC's Ahmet Turan Üngörmüş in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador played a much better game than İSTANBULLS FC and deserved their victory. The İSTANBULLS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
