After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Miromir Ciechocki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Miromir Ciechocki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar made a kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Duro Sámuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Mela Banco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
