Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pista Uno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ovidio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pista Uno F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Pista Uno F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Rolando Areosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Areosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Areosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ovidio Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Areosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Salvador Gisbert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Areosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ovidio Tristans short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ovidio Tristan managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 76thth minute of the game Marcelo Abastas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Pista Uno F.C.'s Vladimiros Kasselas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcelo Abastas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Pista Uno F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Abastas couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Pista Uno F.C.'s goalkeeper Rolando Areosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pista Uno F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
