Lennart Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Behram Nevruz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 37th minute Jarl Apelqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Hermansson got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Hammarby Gård fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Hammarby Gård's Jarl Apelqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sven-Edvin Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 86th minute. Hammarby Gård walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
