The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ciro Moscatelli in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Scofield Vinciguerra came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Moscatelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Figueroa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franco Ucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ovidiu Ciulei heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 41st match minute, Acilia Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fu Hai Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ciro Moscatelli came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ciro Moscatelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by He Le Ke in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Orlando Casaus. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa scored 6-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Moscatelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
