Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Proença in the 9th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Joshua Garrido got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Axel Montenegro. A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Garrido in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nevşehirspor's Angelo Di Livio. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Cipriano Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Cankut Koytak's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cankut Koytak helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Nevşehirspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Frasquito to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 52nd minute of play forced Nevşehirspor's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ragnar Åberg's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nevşehirspor's Ayaz Aydın managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 73 minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Joshua Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 78th minute, when Nevşehirspor's Rıdvan Kurushov after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Pedro Manzanares in Colombia's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hami Tuğaltay, made in the 80th minute of the game. Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Joshua Garrido got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The Nevşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
