The supporters of North Hill United booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Omer Vandamme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Clement made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Omer Vandamme immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Omer Vandamme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Omer Vandamme might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half North Hill United were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. Omer Vandamme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Omer Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Omer Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Steff Berckmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Omer Vandamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omer Vandamme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omer Vandamme in the 85th minute of the match. Omer Vandamme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes, Omer Vandamme made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
