Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 12 minutes FC Zorro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Zorro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Fathoni Andrich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zorro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, FC Zorro's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ivan Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Måns Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Zorro getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Måns Holmberg hit a great ball. Måns Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Erling Holm hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ivan Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fathoni Andrich in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match FC Zorro got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fathoni Andrich ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ivan Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after FC Zorro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivan Sjögren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viggo Jönsätt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Ivan Sjögren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 56th minute, Sten Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zorro's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Sjögren came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivan Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ivan Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ivan Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play forced FC Zorro's goalkeeper Ivan Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
