Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göksel Taşdan's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Puianello FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Støylen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Darrel Pennington in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play forced Puianello FC's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Darrel Pennington managed to make a qualified save. Puianello FC's players were relieved. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcell Jacobs was slow to take the kick. During this time Puianello FC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Darrel Pennington in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Göksel Taşdan made the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Fortunato Boldrini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puianello FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Puianello FC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Boldrini. After a defensive mix-up in Puianello FC's zone, Rafael Gallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darrel Pennington came out of the goal and Rafael Gallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of the match. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darrel Pennington. Darrel Pennington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
