Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aygün Akıncıbeyoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantin Dobrinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after AXi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Victorino Diaz Montero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 36th minute, Victorino Diaz Montero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AXi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexey Zafirov got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexey Zafirov made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Diaz Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Aygün Akıncıbeyoğlu struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AXi. Lucas Argenis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Victorino Diaz Montero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AXi fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when AXi's Alexey Zafirov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexey Zafirov, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Lucas Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AXi's Konstantin Dobrinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alexey Zafirov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alexey Zafirov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AXi booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Alexey Zafirov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AXi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
