But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 5th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Moscatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15thth minute of the game Franco Ucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of the match. Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Moscatelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Robert Wojno charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Wojno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's Robert Wojno got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 41 minutes into the match, Franco Ucci notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciro Moscatelli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Acilia Town's Dieguinho Tande was substituted for Fu Hai Yuan.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Acilia Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 94 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ciro Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Ucci in the 95th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Moscatelli having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Acilia Town eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
