A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doriva Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Doriva Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Figueiredo. Jucuitiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ecuador played a much better game than Jucuitiba and deserved their victory. The Jucuitiba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
