Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Belcho Hlebarov took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belcho Hlebarov got free with Benito Sanz in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4thth minute of the game Belcho Hlebarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belcho Hlebarov in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. ЦСКА's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anzhelo Gerushin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Belcho Hlebarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Belcho Hlebarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anzhelo Gerushin came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 26th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyuboslav Popinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toncho Súrbinski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. The ЦСКА fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. ЦСКА's Nedelcho Petlichkov got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nedelcho Petlichkov charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nedelcho Petlichkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nedelcho Petlichkov kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belcho Hlebarov in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ЦСКА fully deserved thier win.
