The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately Charles Sarmento had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Falcão Marques notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques. But to his dismay, Falcão Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Fernandino during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Joshua Curbelo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Falcão Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Rafinha Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Mateo Leguizamo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. Adalberto Vianna hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

53 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil dos Santos. 56 minutes into the game, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Tiaguinho Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Marques in the 65th minute of play. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF made a substitution. Luís Eduardo Arce replaced Gil dos Santos. When Luís Eduardo Arce came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Arce couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Falcão Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliézer Leão in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Falcão Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
