Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Türkeş Akşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Türkeş Akşit sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Mazuret, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 12th minute of play. Türkeş Akşit struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andırın SK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türkeş Akşit in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 19th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. In the 21st minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Türkeş Akşit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Lou Mazuret scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lou Mazuret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Türkeş Akşit put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Lou Mazuret scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Naci Tansu made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türkeş Akşit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Andırın SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Andırın SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
