After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chineze Lukaku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chineze Lukaku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chineze Lukaku having to interfere. A collision led to RKSV HIER 6 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Klaus Dijkstra hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Fernandinho Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Fernandinho Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Barreto came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RKSV HIER 6's Hanafy Kamouna got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Chineze Lukaku in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of play forced RKSV HIER 6's goalkeeper Chineze Lukaku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RKSV HIER 6! The goalkeeper, Chineze Lukaku, was totally fooled by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Tansel İçkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Klaus Dijkstra fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RKSV HIER 6's protests and gave Klaus Dijkstra a yellow card for diving instead. 96 minutes into the game, Li Yong Feng threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Chineze Lukaku skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
