Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mo Salah took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Manly FC's Mo Salah in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Salah came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paz Trezise charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paz Trezise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paz Trezise hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of the match. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Manly FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ray Clemence. The Manly FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ray Clemence should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ray Clemence didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Mo Salah who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Aldridge in the 50th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Clemence was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Ray Clemence. Manly FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ray Clemence was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ray Clemence made a huge save. The audience was convinced that John Aldridge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when John Aldridge came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Manly FC's Clifford Hamilton. Cristian Sancho spun around in front of the goal 96 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Manly FC's goal.
