After 16 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Secco. In the 19th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raymond Louis in the 20th minute. Jean Marie Alcius hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Adriano Secco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. The supporters of Haiti booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Philippe Ambroise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Sarmento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Gil dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falcão Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Raymond Louis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 47th minute Chicão Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Rafinha Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Rafinha Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Noel Seide threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliézer Leão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Falcão Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Haiti had won, even though Rondinone F.C - FDFDF had held more of the ball.
