Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aloísio Lendaa got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Albohm. Börje Albohm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Aloísio Lendaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, one of Baxters Boys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th match minute, Baxters Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Guidetti to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Baxters Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ennio Piccioli hit a great ball. Ecuador were furious when Antonio Arias was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Aloísio Lendaa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristian Sancho made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Lendaa in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Aloísio Lendaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Börje Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Baxters Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Börje Albohm quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Albohm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Albohm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Börje Albohm in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Börje Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Radomir Debowy got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 91 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Uzay Gencalp. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Novella came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Baxters Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
