In the 5th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Paris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by CerKeteam's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriche Diez in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Oriche Diez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Oriche Diez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Adolfo Paris despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the CerKeteam defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Paris. The CerKeteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Paris should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adolfo Paris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th match minute, CerKeteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Skikiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Oriche Diez hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The CerKeteam players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Reints's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save CerKeteam from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CerKeteam's Rufo Palomares got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Paris. That made the score 0-4 after 56 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolfo Paris firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Paris having to interfere. Adolfo Paris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Paris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, CerKeteam's goalkeeper Adolfo Paris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolfo Paris firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adolfo Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adolfo Paris, passed just outside the right post. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
