Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Filomeno Bladi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Daniël Isla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfredo Tohias in the 21 minute of the game. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniël Isla having to make a save. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 24th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Tohias kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Daniël Isla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's Filomeno Bladi. But to his dismay, Filomeno Bladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 42nd minute of play.

Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Isla having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when George Lucas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Lucas in the 57th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Bladi in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Bladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 71st minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniël Isla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Daniël Isla managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniël Isla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Lando in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Filomeno Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Lucas in the 85th minute of the match. If Esteve Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Lando in the 92nd minute of play. Daniël Isla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
