Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 6 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Boni was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Farafulla FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Behçet Alp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Farafulla FC's Fabio Alfieri in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dante Lacasa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mexico through an amazing save. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andriy Shevchenko was slow to take the kick. During this time Farafulla FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Andriy Shevchenko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Angelo Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. Angelo Boni came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Behçet Alp in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Facundo Cadaval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Boni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andriy Shevchenko made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 37thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dante Lacasa would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Farafulla FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredo Pantani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Farafulla FC's Behçet Alp fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Boni having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Fabio Alfieri in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. 76 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Behçet Alp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Boni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Cazalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Alp came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Berardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
