Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Macías. Abelardo Macías dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Macías, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aļģis Engers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Roi Morales hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Aparicio Ladra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Macías breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Macías. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yasin Saleh in the 36th minute of the match. Roi Morales hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aparicio Ladra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Yasin Saleh came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Roi Morales got a free kick in the 57th minute. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Bo Kristiansson replaced Aparicio Ladra. Plaza Babys CF's Filippo Celli was substituted for Pietro Echavarri. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Abelardo Macías didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Plaza Babys CF's Edward Golec managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Manzanedo in the 79 minute of the game. Bo Kristiansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Edward Golec hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Roi Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bo Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 96th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plaza Babys CF throughout the match.
