Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zach Harrison in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Zajonc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Aras Görkem Kaymaz. Cai Yuan Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Yuan Yuan came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Monty Rogers took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Pankracy Zajonc to make any attempt to save it. A well-hit corner resulted in Lázaro Ramalho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
