Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Samuel Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's George Lucas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniël Isla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Antonio Indiano. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Lando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Lucas in the 41st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, George Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Pedro Manzanares throw himself and got hold of the ball when George Lucas in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Filomeno Bladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After having played for 56 minutes, George Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteve Lando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Montenegro's late challenge caught a αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro. George Lucas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If George Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. George Lucass short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Lando in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Lucas in the 81st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Lando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Leandro Teofilio replaced Filomeno Bladi. In the 95th minute of the match Antonio Indiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniël Isla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colombia.
