Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gelmore FC's Laslo Luginbühl got a free kick in the 10th minute. Abraham Alguacil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Manuel Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahieddine Bouzid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Mahieddine Bouzid was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 22nd minute Vilhelm Brüggemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ferraz came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahieddine Bouzid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Gelmore FC from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Ferraz was the one to do the kick off. Laslo Luginbühl hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61st minute, Vilhelm Brüggemann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Gelmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mahieddine Bouzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahieddine Bouzid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mahieddine Bouzid was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th match minute, Gelmore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberhardt Theda to maneuver through the defense. Gelmore FC's Mahieddine Bouzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 76th minute of play. When Jose Carita fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Jose Carita a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gelmore FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Laslo Luginbühl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Gelmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Gunner Ringholm. Mahieddine Bouzid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Sarmiento in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahieddine Bouzid saved Gelmore FC from getting behind. After 87 played minutes Gelmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Usø. Alex Cambeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahieddine Bouzid having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gelmore FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
