An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Navarro in the 4th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Kevin Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Teodosio Farias put in a rough tackle. In the 9th match minute, Legio X Eqvestris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Farias to maneuver through the defense. Tadeusz Rudy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emiliano Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's Generoso Emenon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Gustau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Tadeusz Rudy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Tadeusz Rudy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Kimetz scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Indiano's late challenge caught a Legio X Eqvestris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Indiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Emenon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Rudy to make the kick off. The supporters of Legio X Eqvestris booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Paradela went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelino Kimetz, made in the 71st minute of the game. Luis Cazalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's Luis Cazalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Gustau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Legio X Eqvestris defense, Luis Cazalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Gustau. The Legio X Eqvestris fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Gustau should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Colombia's Abram Secada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the game Raul Garoa made a throw-in which Tadeusz Rudy played forward.
