The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Pădureanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Manole Muncelean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ionuț Eftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Sinulescu in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anuvitta Ghuman's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 91st minute of the match x-TreM KiLLerSS got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Pădureanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to x-TreM KiLLerSS's Anuvitta Ghuman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
