After some careless play in the Andarilhos defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. The Andarilhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Oblak should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Luís Espinosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andarilhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 88 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Espinosa. In the 90th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon Oblak skillfully saved the ball.
