Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 14 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abraham Alguacil's late challenge caught a Ronnys Lärjungar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Alguacil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Kjell-Arne Skott who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tommy Beck took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aaron Barrios charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Barrios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Patrik Ahlrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Edvin Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrik Ahlrot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ronnys Lärjungar getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arnold Butter hit a great ball. When Bertil Harlén fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ronnys Lärjungar's protests and gave Bertil Harlén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvin Bruhn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Skott was the one to do the kick off. When Kjell-Arne Skott fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ronnys Lärjungar's protests and gave Kjell-Arne Skott a yellow card for diving instead. Kjell-Arne Skott kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Edvin Bruhn. Ronnys Lärjungar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After having played for 62 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 64th minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Patrik Ahlrot made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 73 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Ahlrot came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Patrik Ahlrot made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Edvin Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Sverker Björk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Mattsson. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Patrik Ahlrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
