Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for grangemouth! The goalkeeper, Pitt Frøne, was totally fooled by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Petricca in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Petricca came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Petricca struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for grangemouth. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pitt Frøne came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Covarrubias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Emilio Petricca elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Edmond Niven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. grangemouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Niven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, grangemouth's Emilio Petricca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Emilio Petricca came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the grangemouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Petricca couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Emilio Petricca sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Edmond Niven capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmond Niven really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Emilio Petricca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Emilio Petricca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute Emilio Petricca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Graeme Souness was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. grangemouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. After a rather tough play, grangemouth's Graeme Souness got a free kick in the 84th minute. Emilio Petriccas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. grangemouth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
