Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aron Ţintea. Iordache Jităreanu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Jităreanu helped the player get up and apologised. Iordache Jităreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Lartaun in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Miguel Lartaun struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yboy Black. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yboy Black's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yboy Black's goalie and right to Salvador Gisbert. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yboy Black's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 34th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yboy Black's Gheorghe Ţipirig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 39th minute of play forced Yboy Black's goalkeeper Gheorghe Ţipirig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Yboy Black defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Ţipirig. The Yboy Black fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Ţipirig should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Yboy Black's Cosmin Mardare got a free kick in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gheorghe Ţipirig was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. In the 47thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yboy Black's Gheorghe Ţipirig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Ţintea made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lartaun in the 51st minute of play. After 59 minutes of play Yboy Black's Iordache Jităreanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th minute, Iordache Jităreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gheorghe Ţipirig. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. Aron Ţintea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Ţintea, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Yboy Black's Aron Ţintea got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gheorghe Ţipirig. Patricio Costa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. With his leg Gheorghe Ţipirig managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Aron Ţintea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
