Isidro Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. DEPORTIVO SJ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isidro Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Christobal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Mohammad in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Bermudez. DEPORTIVO SJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but 潘林凡 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Filiberto Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEPORTIVO SJ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Bermudez made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Isidro Christobal however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidro Christobal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to DEPORTIVO SJ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Filiberto Bermudez hit a great ball. DEPORTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO SJ from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Bermudez in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Christobal. DEPORTIVO SJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Isidro Christobal came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Isidro Christobal made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Isidro Christobal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEPORTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DEPORTIVO SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
