Legia Warszawa 【L】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 11th minute when Tomas Berganza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juliusz Bury stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Florian Pryputnicki. Juliusz Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a freekick which was hit by Florian Pryputnicki. In the 27th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juliusz Bury was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some careless play in the Legia Warszawa 【L】 defense, Alex Cambeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juliusz Bury. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juliusz Bury should have stopped the shot. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthew Garrido made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Florian Pryputnicki. 0-6 became the score in the 40th minute when Tomas Berganza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Juliusz Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juliusz Bury was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Panama were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Konrad Dunajski in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Panama's Jose Carita. 56 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juliusz Bury made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Berganza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juliusz Bury. That made the score 0-9 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juliusz Bury made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juliusz Bury firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juliusz Bury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Miguel Miralles scored 0-13 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juliusz Bury, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juliusz Bury took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Bury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Juliusz Bury had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Jose Carita got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Isidoro Sarmiento. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juliusz Bury. That made the score 0-14 after 94 minutes of play. Panama played a much better game than Legia Warszawa 【L】 and deserved their victory. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
