Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Martinelli in the 7th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Ove Kinell replaced Hubert Gruber. In the 31st minute Ryttartorpets FF were awarded a corner. Stanley Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd minute of the match Ryttartorpets FF got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stanley Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Görkem Güneş. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Stanley Santos came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Baand in the 40th minute. Patrik Linqvist came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Martinelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Kinell in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Baand came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Bo Baand made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 66th minute Ove Kinell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benno Bonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ryttartorpets FF's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Linqvist came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrik Linqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrik Linqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Ryttartorpets FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrik Linqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrik Linqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Ryttartorpets FF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
