An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Stabbe in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Jonny Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Olivedals BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Felix Montes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Ludvig Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 18th minute of play. Ludvig Forsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Olivedals BK's Ludvig Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Olivedals BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Joachim Käller could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 29th minute of the match Olivedals BK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonny Nyberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 39 minutes, Martin Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivedals BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Olivedals BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th match minute, Olivedals BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Smed to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute of the match Olivedals BK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonny Nyberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joachim Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Josefsson in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Olivedals BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Arenal to maneuver through the defense. Olivedals BK made a substitution. Malte Drake replaced Jonny Nyberg. In the 80th minute, Mateus Arenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Stabbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Evert Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Olivedals BK's Ludvig Forsberg got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Greger Josefsson notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olivedals BK throughout the match.
