Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Göran Olofsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. In the 3rd minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Olofsson in the 8th minute of play. Arman Bremming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 16th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Emanuel Brandin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Olofsson in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Emanuel Brandin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after FC Snipers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. Emanuel Brandin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Noboa made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lennart Svensson could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Martin Hedlund hit a great ball. FC Snipers's Emanuel Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Brandin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Emanuel Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Greger Kullgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Snipers had controlled the match.
