Niceto Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Iraitz went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Paio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. A collision led to Mustang V8 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edelmiro Quiroga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 40th minute of play forced Mustang V8's goalkeeper Niceto Paio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Orlando Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mustang V8's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Iraitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustang V8's Teodoro Palben managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Carita in the 54 minute of the game. The tension between the Mustang V8 and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mustang V8's Gustaf Biörkman got a free kick in the 66th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Iraitz in the 70th minute of play. Niceto Paio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Miralles's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. A collision led to Mustang V8 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gustaf Biörkman hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Niceto Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 84th minute of play.
